A big THANK YOU to everyone for coming to the benefit yesterday and for donating so many raffle prizes. It was a lot of fun and a great success. Mom looked so happy and healthy!

On October 9th, 2008, our beloved Jacqueline was diagnosed with breast cancer. Although devastated at first, we knew she would be a survivor and we were all here for her every step of the way! On March 14th, 2009, Jacqueline was diagnosed with a brain AVM which was removed through brain surgery on June 8th. It was a tough recovery, but she inspired us all with her courage and strength.

Jacqueline it was great to see you having a great time dancing and enjoying the company of your friends and loved ones. I had a wonderful time. Thanks to all that had a hand in coordinating the event. I think Powerdrive with their excellent opening rendition of "Long Train Running Late" said it all. The lyrics include "without love.....where would you be now". Keep up the fight mi amiga, we're all right here with you. Carinosamente, Rick
