Yesterday Mike and Meg from Powderhouse productions in Boston, came to Mom's house to meet all of us and explain more about the taping and interviewing that will be going on to document her experience. They are really nice and answered any questions we had. Basically they will be following her every step of the way. They will be interviewing us about the journey that has brought us here, they will tape the actual surgery, they will document her progress after and they will be @ Famous Sam's tonight for the fundraiser! Mom is excited about it but getting nervous for surgery. It seems like it is coming really fast but we know she will do fine!!!! According to multiple sources, Dr. Spetzler is one of the best neurosurgeons in the world, which is why the production company chose him to document, so she is in good hands.
Today Mom will be admitted to the hospital for hours of pre-operative testing to make sure she is ready for surgery Monday. The doctors will also run tests to map out the procedure.

On October 9th, 2008, our beloved Jacqueline was diagnosed with breast cancer. Although devastated at first, we knew she would be a survivor and we were all here for her every step of the way! On March 14th, 2009, Jacqueline was diagnosed with a brain AVM which was removed through brain surgery on June 8th. It was a tough recovery, but she inspired us all with her courage and strength.
